C’est la Noël!

C’est la Noël! Sur la minuit
Tous les bergers sortent du litt;
S’en vont tout droit vers leur agneaux
Endormis bien au chaud,
“Pasteurs le ciel vous garde”,
Leur dit un ange du ciel.

Il y sont tous ensemble allés
Il se sont tous agenouillés.
Alors, un grand eclair, soudain
Illumina lEnfant
Et la Vierge, sa mèrreine de tous les Saints.

It is Christmas! At midnight
All the shepherds leave their beds.
They go straight towards their lambs
Sleeping so warmly.
“Shepherds, Heaven watches over you”,
An Angel of Heaven tells them.
They all went there together
They all fell on their knees.
Then a great light suddenly
Fell on the Child
